Review of The Vigil by Mike Allen
The Vigil by Mike Allen appeared in the Fall 2012 issue of Goblin Fruit. The cover art was obviously inspired by this engrossing, creepy, free-verse, fairytale-like poem. Even without the art, I would have seen something similar in my imagination. And speaking of imagination, Mr. Allen has a good one. Bravo!
