What will be our legacy when we are gone? Will our machines pick up where we left off, carry out our final wishes, preserve the best of what humanity was and might have been? What of our poems? What of our songs? Will robots turn to roboticide to survive? Will they wage war? Will they take on our worst qualities? Or will they be altruistic? Will they laugh? Will they sing? Will they make anything of what we were uniquely their own, or will they push "delete" and start from scratch, erasing us? Ms. Mejia explores these questions in her beautifully written, well-paced, original, earth-shattering tale. I'll be pondering this one for a long time and discussing it with family and friends. A triumph! 7 out of 7 rocket-dragons.
