Review of Dusk by Margo Berdeshevsky
Dusk by Margo Berdeshevsky was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on March 8, 2013. It is an elegy, but might have been a thank you note (see the poet's notes). There are beautiful avian images that evoke feelings of hope and rebirth. Death is inevitable, but the subject of the poem retains some sense of control by choosing when, and perhaps how, death will finally come.
