Review of Immortality by Craig Morgan Teicher
Immortality by Craig Morgan Teicher was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on March 13, 2013. The poet admits in his notes that he was going through a time when he found it difficult to write. One of the results was this rambling prose-poem inspired by Emily Dickinson.

I feel close to the same as the rambling part goes. The poem lacks the flow of great poems, such as the one that inspired him. Almost as if this was just something he had written in his journal on a late night. However, I did feel the first sentence and its allegory to death was very strong.
