Review of The Wolf Reader by George Szirtes
The Wolf Reader by George Szirtes was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on March 9, 2013. The poet sings of the compulsion many of us have to read horror stories, using the ubiquitous fairy tales involving wolves as an example. In the end, we own the stories--they still produce fear, but it is a controlled fear.
