Review of Longing to Commodious by Rob Halpern
Longing to Commodious by Rob Halpern was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on April 18, 2013. The poet reveals in his notes that the poem was inspired by the recent "occupy" movement. I guess that explains the double meaning of the title--at once a longing for comfort (for the protesters had little of that) and a longing for a commode or toilet (as the protesters often used the world as their bathroom). The poem makes about as much sense as the occupy movement did.
