If Ms. Hyslop is a poet as well as an author (her bio did not say), I would love to read her poetry. The words of her story have a lyrical quality, a dreamy quality (apropos in a story about dreams). I was reminded a bit a Peter Pan, one of my favorite tales, but there was a touch of Neil Gaiman's romantic side here too. Brava! 7 out of 7 rocket-dragons.

Review of "The Sandman's Dreams" by Jess Hyslop
