Review of To Sir Henry Woton by John Donne
To Sir Henry Woton by John Donne (1572 - 1631) (pictured) was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on April 14, 2013. It is a long, somewhat rambling rhyming poem in the form of a letter to a friend (or perhaps to a homosexual lover?). I was reminded of Shakespeare's character from Hamlet, Polonius, as I read.
