This faery tale is interesting in that it refers to The Little Mermaid story but tells a different albeit related one. While it is difficult to identify with the naïveté of the mermaid MC in Ms. Otis' story, since the human reader knows all about humans even if the mermaid does not, the author makes a fine effort toward overcoming this nearly insurmountable obstacle. The result is a memorable tale worth reading. 5 out of 7 rocket-dragons.
