Review of "L'Avenir est Quelque Chose" by Dobby Gibson
L'Avenir est Quelque Chose (which, according to my translation program, means "The Future is Something" in French) by Dobby Gibson was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on May 17, 2013. The poet sings of rainy weather in Minneapolis, umbrellas, and dreams and possibilities. Even though Mr. Gibson's free verse is quite free, having sometimes vastly differing numbers of feet per line, I found his verse to have a certain lilting quality pleasing to the ear.
