Review of "Smaug, MD" by Andrew Kaye
"Smaug, MD" by Andrew Kaye appeared in Daily Science Fiction on May 7, 2013. "In a world where dragons make excellent physicians for their human patients, the dragon-physicians get to eat their dying patients as part of the deal." Mr. Kaye's fantasy/horror story is original, fascinating, and well-written, with an ending that only a physician (such as I, sadly) is likely to be able to predict. 6 out of 7 rocket-dragons.
