Review of "Sonnet" by Anthony Opal
Sonnet by Anthony Opal appeared in the March 2013 issue of Poetry Magazine. There are some lines that rhyme, but other than meeting the 14-line requirement, I would have a tough time calling this poem a "sonnet." Religious and sexual imagery is mixed together along with some remarks about a zoo. The poem ends with a cliché that seems a little tacked on as well as tacky.
