Spring Song by Sherwood Anderson (1876 - 1941) was offered by Poets.org's
Poem-A-Day on May 18, 2013. Mr. Anderson's style reminds me of that of Walt Whitman. Expressed was a love of America and of its soil bordering on being "in love" in a somehow acceptable, understandable, reverent way. He saw the music in the cycle of spring and the planting of corn.
