Review of "The Flight" by Sara Teasdale
The Flight by Sara Teasdale (1884 - 1933) (pictured) was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on June 15, 2013. The poet sings of running away with a new love, but always in the back of her mind she hopes that somehow she will still wind up with her first love. Some say you never get over your first love. I beg to differ but understand the sentiment.
