Review of "Summer in the South" by Paul Laurence Dunbar
Summer in the South by Paul Laurence Dunbar (1872 - 1906) (pictured) was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on June 22, 2013. An appropriate song for the first full day of the warmest season, this rhyming poem celebrates how the birds, flowers, and the environment transforms under the summer sun.
