My Grandmother's Love Letters by Hart Crane (1899 - 1932) was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on July 21, 2013.  In hauntingly beautiful verse, the poem sings of the discovery of a collection of the poet's grandmother's old letters.  The letters are spoken of literally and as a metaphor for the ephemerality of the past.
