"Song of Quietness" by Robinson Jeffers (1887 - 1962) (pictured) was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on September 1, 2013. It is a beautiful ballad of rhyming verse that places the reader in a place of peace, at one with nature, in that magical moment of freedom and hope just before the break of day.
