"Billeting in Thailand" is the next installment in my poetic memoir,
A Wave of Poetry. The memoir documents my odyssey from New Jersey to Indonesia and back again when I was an air force flight surgeon tasked as part of the response to the tsunami of 2004. Thailand hosted the US contingent. The difference between the quality of billeting for officers and enlisted was striking.
