"Human Chain" is the latest installment in my poetic memoir, A Wave of Poetry. During a rare lull in our operations, my unit loaded several Jeeps with relief supplies and drove into the the heart of Sabang to personally deliver them to some of the 1,200 or so tsunami survivors. Within the crowd of islanders there was a delightful little girl with amazingly bright eyes who smiled at the sight of us. I can still see her face.

"Human Chain" is the latest installment in my poetic memoir, A Wave of Poetry.
