Sierra
July
She was born in red
Hot flames too bright to see
They called her a star
A carpet spread for her
And she danced on it
In a smooth Milky Way

Notes: This poem came from a random place. Listening to a song
that repeated “dance” in the lyrics, I thought of the show "Dancing with
the Stars", and that spurred the thought of dancing on the stars, then the
thought of a star dancing on stars.
